We only hold what you send us: your name, phone number, email address, photographs of furniture and any details you provide when requesting a quotation.
To prepare your quotation, carry out the work and contact you about it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest and, where work is agreed, performance of a contract.
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or pass on your details to third parties for marketing.
Enquiry details are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for warranty purposes. Ask us to delete your details at any time and we will.
This site carries an automated front desk — the chat bubble in the corner. It answers questions about upholstery and about how we work. It is software, not a person, and it is not Raymond Rowson.
What happens to what you type: your question, and the last few messages in that conversation, are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, which runs the language model that produces the reply. Cloudflare acts as our processor for this. Your message is not stored by us, is not used to train any model, and is not linked to you — the assistant has no access to your name, phone number, email address or any other detail, and it will never ask you for them.
Please do not type anything into it you would not want leaving your device. It is there for questions about furniture; to actually get a quotation, send a photograph by text or email using the details above, which reaches Raymond Rowson directly and does not go through the assistant.
The assistant does not give prices and cannot book work in. Anything it tells you about your own furniture is general guidance based on the trade, not an assessment of your piece — only Raymond Rowson can give you that, having seen it.
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google servers, which may be outside the UK. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
Our contact section embeds a Google Maps frame, which sets cookies and receives your IP address when it loads. It is loaded lazily and only when you scroll to it.
This website sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of its own.
